We take pride in promoting our events and festivals in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner, guided by sustainability principles. Our commitment to the environment extends to meticulous planning at every stage of our activities. Here are some key initiatives we have implemented to ensure sustainability:
Environmentally Friendly Transportation - Carpooling
Prior to our participants arriving at the venue, we strive to provide a more eco-conscious event experience. In some, we encourage public transportation and shared mobility- carpooling options. For the rest, we collaborate with partners such as Uber to encourage participants to choose environmentally friendly alternatives. The focus is on mitigating issues like environmental pollution, fuel consumption, visual and noise pollution, parking challenges, and traffic congestion, while enhancing accessibility for our attendees.
Waste Management
We are dedicated to effective waste management, with the goal of achieving zero waste at our events. One of our partners is "Refresh," helping us serve drinks in reusable cups. Participants pay a refundable deposit per cup, promoting responsible behavior and reducing waste. Our events boast an impressive 80% average glass return rate. Unreturned glasses are not discarded; instead, they serve as keepsakes, contributing to our zero waste target. This practice not only minimizes the environmental impact by reducing the use of disposable plastic cups but also enhances the cleanliness and organization of our events, reducing visual pollution and making the event area more appealing.
Reusable and Long-lasting Designs
We prioritize the use of durable decorations that can be reused across various areas. This not only reduces waste but also optimizes resource utilization. The team actively explores ways to repurpose old decorations before each event, implementing solutions such as color changes, shape modifications, or minor adjustments to ensure the materials are reusable.
Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is a paramount consideration in our events. We minimize energy consumption by incorporating energy-efficient LED lighting in event areas. Also, a portion of the energy for our backstage caravans is sourced from solar panels. This not only reduces energy costs but also aligns with our commitment to using environmentally friendly energy sources.
